Trypophobia[2] is a guaranteed obsessive apprehension of gaps, especially unpredictable examples of openings. The term was begat in 2005 from the Greek τρύπα (trýpa) "opening" and φόβος (phóbos) "fear".[3] Thousands of individuals say they have the condition.[1] It is not perceived in the American Psychiatric Association's Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders (DSM) or other investigative liter.
